Baptisms / Today

The Chinatown Mandarin congregation has 6 baptisms: Qing Li, Yuefang Yi, Xianwei Zhang, Meili Huang, Liyin Yin, Yanli Zhou, and 2 membership transfers: Xiangmin Zhao, and Jun Fang Chen. CCUC-West has 2 baptisms: Irene Zhong, and Xiyang Sun. We praise the Lord for His faithfulness to our church and for these new family members!

Kurdistan Short Term Mission

The missions board will be sending a medical STM team to Kurdistan through HIS Foundation. The trip will take place September 13-25. They will be recruiting nurses, surgeons, anesthesiologists, physical and occupational therapists, child life specialists (teachers are welcome to apply), photographers/videographers. The team will perform orthopedic surgeries on patients of all ages, primarily focusing on pediatrics. For those interested in applying to this STM, please email missions@ccuc.net.

PTCS Two-Year-Old (Toddler) Program

PTCS will launch a Year-round Two-Year-Old (Toddler) program beginning the 2026-2027 school year. This program will be led by Ms. Vincci Chan, one of our seasoned early childhood educators. Ms. Chan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with Type 04 EC Certification and brings over 10 years of experience teaching young children. The program will also be overseen by Principal Bonnie Ho, who holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education with Type 04 EC Certification and has over 15 years of experience in education and school leadership. Rev. Pao’s Appreciation Service / April 12

Please join us as we appreciate Rev. Pao’s service and celebrate his time with us at CCUC. May God bless him and his family as they move forward with their next calling! It will be from 2:30 PM to 3:45 PM in the CCUC Sanctuary

The theme will be “Grateful for the past journey together, looking forward to a new voyage tomorrow” The service will be conducted entirely in Cantonese, with no translation provided.

Jesus Day - Save the Date / Saturday, June 20

As part of our 2026 church theme of “Becoming a Community of God’s Love”, we are excited to be planning Jesus Day as a great outreach event to share and show the love of Jesus to the people of the Chinatown community in concrete ways. More details to come in the months ahead. Please save the date of Saturday, June 20.

Local Evangelism & Short-Term Mission Opportunity

Join us at the Joni & Friends Family Retreat in Michigan, June 21-26 or August 30-September 3 2026, as we serve Pui Tak Center families and others affected by disabilities. A scholarship fundraiser will help support families and volunteers to share in God’s love and encouragement. We invite you to volunteer to serve, pray, or give.
