The All Members Assembly / September 27

The AMA will take place at 2 pm in the Sanctuary. Materials can be found at the foyer or were sent out by congregation/fellowship.Please plan to attend. 

Flu Shots / September 27

Flu shots will be given in the CCUC gym from 9 am - 2 pm. Please bring photo ID and insurance cards including Medicare, Medicaid or private because of a limited number of free vouchers. Volunteers are needed for registration. If you’re interested in helping, please email office.chinatown@ccuc.net.

Michigan Thrift Store Donations

Our supported missionaries from Michigan run a thrift store and our church will be hosting a 1-day donation drive on Sunday, October 4. We will only be collecting from 9:30am - 11:30am. The donations will be collected in a U-Haul truck parked right in front of church. Please bring only new or gently-used items! The donation list includes:

Clothing Items, Collectibles, DVD, BLU-Ray, Video Games, Electrical (small items) working order, Home Goods & Décor, Housewares, Linens, Shoes & Accessories, Small Furniture (fit easily in a small SUV), Tools, Toys & Games

Our Daily Bread Devotionals (Sep-Nov) help with the reading of God’s Word and are available in the Sanctuary foyer or with your site’s office.

Kurdistan Short Term Mission

The missions board will be sending a medical STM team to Kurdistan through HIS Foundation. The trip will take place September 13-25. They will be recruiting nurses, surgeons, anesthesiologists, physical and occupational therapists, child life specialists (teachers are welcome to apply), photographers/videographers. The team will perform orthopedic surgeries on patients of all ages, primarily focusing on pediatrics. For those interested in applying to this STM, please email missions@ccuc.net.
