城南堂簡介

芝城華人基督教聯合會(聯合會)立會於一九一五年，由長老會，浸信會，衛理公會，循道會，弟兄會及各宗派華人信徒聯合於華埠組成。

一九八四年，聯合會正式開展橋港區福音堂的工作，並於一九九一年完成建堂，將福音堂改名為城南堂至今。

城南堂在神的恩典下不斷成長壯大，由租借別教會地方而成為一個擁有自己堂會的福音教會，致力於執行主耶穌福音的大使命。

OUR CHURCH

Our mother church, Chinese Christian Union Church (CCUC) was founded as a cooperative effort by five denominations (Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists, Congregationalists and the Disciples of Christ) as well as several denominations of Chinese Christians. In 1915, they dedicated their first church building in the Chinatown community.

In 1984, CCUC established a gospel center in the Bridgeport area and began an outreach ministry on rented church property. In 1991, construction was completed on our own church building, and the name was changed to CCUC-South.

With God’s grace, CCUC-South has experienced steady and healthy growth. It has always been our goal to preach the gospel, to seek and apply God’s will to our lives, and to fulfill the Great Commission.

We welcome every brother and sister in Him, and friends to join with us at CCUC-South to worship God and share Christ’s love.

我們的異象是成為基督的門徒，反映祂的形像及服事祂。為達成這異象，我們致力成為大使命的教會，向華埠、芝加哥附近地區，及全世界傳揚福音來榮耀神。我們著重以主基督為中心的崇拜、聖經真理的教導、小組的關懷、恩賜的運用、生活化佈道、策略性植堂及全球性宣教。

CCUC Vision Statement

Our vision is to be disciples of Christ who reflect His image and serve Him. To accomplish this vision we seek to be a Great Commission Church which glorifies God by reaching out to Chinatown, Greater Chicago, and the world at large. We will engage in Christ-centered worship, Bible-based teaching, small group caring, use of spiritual gifts, lift-style evangelism, strategic church planting, and global mission.
