In 1994, CCUC established the Pui Tak Center to be a Christian witness to Chinese
individuals and families through educational, family, and community services.
The Pui Tak Center has programs in the following areas:
- Adult ESL Program
English classes on weekday mornings and evenings and one-to-one tutoring on Saturday mornings.
- Children's Educational Program
July Summer Program; Children's Tutoring Program, after school and summer employment programs for high school students.
- Senior Program
Drop-in center and interest classes.
- New Immigrant Services
Information and referral services, citizenship services, workshops, welcome boxes for new immigrant families, new
immigrant guidebook and interest classes.
- Computer Learning Center
Computer training classes and open lab.
There are many volunteer opportunities at the Pui Tak Center to work with children, new
immigrants and seniors.
