Communion Sunday

Communion Sunday: The English congregation celebrates communion on the second Sunday of every month. To prepare ourselves for Communion, the service begins at 9:30 am.

Food Drive Collection: As part of CCUC's Benevolence Ministry, on Communion Sunday food is collected for the Pui Tak Center's ministry to new immigrants. Please bring a canned or dry boxed food item that would be familiar to a new immigrant. Collection boxes are in the foyer.

Monthly Prayer Meeting: To continue our celebration of communion with God and His people, we gather for corporate prayer after the worship service. The prayer meeting is in your normal ABF or KS room.

Labor Day Sports Tournament

September 4

CCUC 25th Annual Sports Tournament will be on Saturday, September 4 from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm at the University of Illinois, Chicago Physical Education Building, 901 W. Roosevelt Road. This year theme is "Already Won", 1 Corinthians 15:57-58. Volunteer Opportunity to help on that day please contact Natalie Jeung, njeung@yahoo.com.

The Junior Division of the Annual Sports Tournament is open to all boys and girls ages 8-14 and will be held on Saturday, September 4 at the CCUC's gym. You may form your own basketball team or be assigned to a team. The fee is $60.00 per team or $10.00 per person which covers registration and lunch. Has God blessed you recently with a bundle of joy? The next opportunity for parents to dedicate their children will be on Sunday, October 17. Brochures and applications are available in the foyer, PTCS office, and Impact Center church office. The application deadline is due on Sunday, October 10.
